CARTERET ? Divine Mercy Church will once again host a fundraiser with National Pro Wrestling Superstars on Friday, Oct. 26 at 7:45 p.m. at the Divine Mercy Parish Hall, 213 Pershing Avenue, just off Washington and Roosevelt avenues.
And since Halloween is just a few days later, NPWS will start the holiday a few days early with a main event that promises to be scary and bone-chilling for fans young and old, as the skeleton-faced and ghastly Mor-Ta-Da (a tribute character to the late former WCW star Mortis) will face a kindred Halloween spirit in the form of the one and only worm-eating former WWE star The Boogeyman.
Not as ghastly, but still deadly to their opponents, NPWS Cruiserweight Champion ?Mr. Entertainment? J.D. Smoothie and NPWS Junior Heavyweight Champion ?The Love Machine? Nicky Oceans will also see ring time in Carteret, along with veteran tri-state area stars Eric Corvis and ?The Cold-Hearted Playa? Danny Demanto, and local pro mat stars ?The Latin Lover? Chachi, Nick Napoleon, Chris ?Boom Boom? Powers, Dionett The Salsa King, and much more, including special guest manager Firefighter Joe Davis.
Plus, as it?s Halloween weekend, there will be a Halloween Costume Contest, with prizes for kids and adults.
